MONTHLY NewsLETTER & OTHER UPDATES

At Trafford Sportsmen's Club, we believe that keeping our members informed about club activities is essential to building a strong and engaged community. That's why we send out a monthly newsletter that includes information about upcoming events, club news, and member highlights. We also use email and social media to provide real-time updates and reminders about club activities.

By staying up to date on club activities, members can take advantage of all the benefits that our club has to offer. They can participate in events that align with their interests, connect with other members who share their passions, and contribute to the success of the club. In addition, being informed about club activities helps members feel more connected to the organization, which can lead to increased participation and a stronger sense of community.

We encourage all members to read our monthly newsletter, follow us on social media, and stay tuned for email updates. We also welcome feedback and suggestions from our members to help us continually improve our communication efforts. By working together, we can build a thriving community of sportsmen and women who are dedicated to preserving our hunting, fishing, and outdoor heritage.

  • 3D Target Shots

    Attaching a few photos (pics taken closer than shooting pegs) of the target set-ups on our 3D course in hopes they pique your interest, and we will get a better turnout for our remaining shoots: June 1st and August 3rd.  We have worked tirelessly since the 2024 tornado damage and our two most recent storms, to give you a safe, fun yet challenging course to shoot.  It is a hunter's style course with a couple shots 50+yds.  90% of our targets are now Rinehart.  Depending on range conditions and the location we may have to designate for parking, we have a Polaris Ranger four-man side-by-side that we will use to shuttle shooters to the start of the course.  Hope to see you at the shoots.

  • New Targets On Walk-Thru Course

    Newest changes to the archery practice range walk-thru course.  Shooting bags have been hung on all the target stands in front of the bales.  When hit the bales should ricochet a little but not swing excessively.

    No more arrows passing thru the bales, ruining fletching's.  And now the course is xbow compatible.

    These bags will accommodate Traditional, Compound and xBow bows equipped with FIELD TIPS ONLY, NO BROADHEADS.

  • OUTDOOR RANGES EXPANSION

    Outdoor range expansion project has started. Closures will be posted if possible.  Range work will always be Monday through  Friday 8 AM to 4PM. All outdoor ranges will reopen at 4PM when closed. Your patience is appreciated, while we make things better and nicer for all members.

      Outdoor range spring & summer shoot schedules are  posted on indoor range  & outdoor range calendars.  Schedules can also be picked up at the indoor  range.  

  • April 2025 PTARC Archery Instruction

    PTARC (Penn-Trafford Area Recreational Classes) archery class instruction will be held all Tuesdays in the month of April: 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22 and 4/29.  Classes will be held at the indoor pistol range from 6:00-7:00pm.  All equipment will be provided if your child does not have their own.   Registration is done through PTARC website, not through the club.

  • Outdoor range

    The outdoor range is open for walkers only. No vehicular traffic until further notice because of icy conditions.
