MONTHLY NewsLETTER & OTHER UPDATES

At Trafford Sportsmen's Club, we believe that keeping our members informed about club activities is essential to building a strong and engaged community. That's why we send out a monthly newsletter that includes information about upcoming events, club news, and member highlights. We also use email and social media to provide real-time updates and reminders about club activities.

By staying up to date on club activities, members can take advantage of all the benefits that our club has to offer. They can participate in events that align with their interests, connect with other members who share their passions, and contribute to the success of the club. In addition, being informed about club activities helps members feel more connected to the organization, which can lead to increased participation and a stronger sense of community.

We encourage all members to read our monthly newsletter, follow us on social media, and stay tuned for email updates. We also welcome feedback and suggestions from our members to help us continually improve our communication efforts. By working together, we can build a thriving community of sportsmen and women who are dedicated to preserving our hunting, fishing, and outdoor heritage.

    Trafford Sportsmen's Club Property.

Hunting is allowed by members and nonmembers.

With all the storm damage, extreme caution should be used when in the wooded area of the club property.

All treestands (climbers/ladder), and ground blinds must have an identifying tag affixed to the stand as shown below, which is the same as required by the Pa. Game Commission for stands on all game lands. Nonmembers, at the Member ID Card #, please indicate ‘Permission Granted xx/xx/20xx’.

Member/Nonmember Name          Member ID Card #

    Telephone #

    Emergency Telephone #

    License CID #

Any stand not tagged by opening day of the statewide archery season will be removed and can be claimed at the indoor pistol range Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, or at the Skeet office Thursday and Friday evenings.

Using the same PGC guidelines for removal from game lands, all stands & blinds must be removed from TSC property two weeks after the final deer season for WMU2B.

Thank you for your cooperation.  TSC Executive Board

After contacting the PA Game Commission, this is what we know.  TSC is classified as a co-opp by the game commission.  This means in a nutshell we are not aloud to stop hunting on TSC property or post it with  no hunting signs. Hunting is allowed by members and nonmembers. So, this makes our yearly vote/article useless and redundant.  So with all the storm damage, extreme caution should be used when in the wooded area of the club property.

Do not go past the 200yd range there are numerous storm damaged trees along the hillside especially the 300 yd area. You can still shoot 400 yds do not post any targets past 200yds

If you have trouble pulling your field point tipped arrow from the Rinehart foam backers, or bolt from the xBow target, 'Lube Tubes' have been fastened to the elevated stand supports, see photos in the Archery Forum posting.

Inside the plastic tubes is foam pipe wrap with silicone spray.  Just slide your arrow/bolt in and it will have a thin layer of silicone when removed.  This can aid in easier removal.

The silicone will periodically be refreshed.

Remember, when removing field tipped arrows/bolts from the Rinehart foam backers or xBow target, ALWAYS TWIST THE ARROW/BOLT CLOCKWISE AND PULL, this will ensure the field tip does not unscrew and stay imbedded in the backer/target.
